The STEPL Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse provides a comfortable seat for those working at fixed elevated workstations. A cushioning, gas spring lift provides a seat height range from 23.2" to 33.1", sufficient for most elevated worksurfaces. The STEPL has a wide seat and back, both with 2" padding for comfort. The angles of the seat and back are independently adjustable and the seat back is height adjustable, features that enable individual users to position support where it is most beneficial.
Two footrest options are available. Model SDC-BLK-07030 features a 120° steel footrest with an aggressively treaded surface for safety. Model SDC-GRY-07033 is equipped with a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that provides a convenient 360° of fixed support for the feet a minimum of 7.5" above the floor. Both footrests can be secured at greater heights if necessary.
Both models have oversized 27" diameter Brushed Aluminum bases for stability. Safety glides ensure safety when mounting and dismounting from the chair.

The upright position also significantly reduces the effort required to return to a fully standing position. The shock absorbing effect of the easily adjusted gas cylinder provides additional comfort when the user sits down.
The fixed seat offers an infinitely adjustable height range and a forward-locking tilt adjustment ranging from 5° to 20°. The polyurethane seat provides a firm yet cushioned seating surface with raised texture bumps. Model RLS-B-11120 also features a firm polyurethane back support with independent angle adjustment to ensure that a comfortable upright posture can be maintained regardless of the chosen seat angle.
Note: The back on the RLS-B-11120 has a 2.5" deep curvature in the middle, is 14" wide, and has firm edges. Some users with broader frames may find the back on this model too narrow and deep for a comfortable fit. Unlike the seats on a leaning seat or traditional stool, the large plush saddle on the NOSTND is designed to be straddled. Seated posture on the NOSTND is more upright, with the heels positioned behind the bend of the knees, rather than extended forward of the knees as they would be in a leaning position. This posture allows the user to move in much closer to flat-fronted work surfaces than might otherwise be possible. As a result, the NOSTND Perching Comfort PLUS Saddle Seat helps to reduce the risk of overreach injuries to the muscles of the shoulders and back, and the risk of injury to the muscles of the sides and mid-section caused by sitting sideways along the base of the workstation and twisting at the waist to get close enough to its surface.
